.Recycling Depot at the Municipal Building, First Saturday in Month 8:00 -11:00
Take all items to the Township depot on the first Saturday in the month The good news is that it is no longer necessary to separate plastic, cans, aluminum and glass but keep separate items indicated below:
Reminder: Curbside recycling is no longer collected by the County
Please: CLEAN ALL ARTICLES FREE OF FOOD PARTICLES.
Separate:
Newspaper / newsprint cross-tied (NO magazines or junk mail)
Corrugated Cardboard flattened and cross-tied with twine 2' x 2'. (No pressboard or chip)
Brown paper bags (without plastic liners) stacked within a brown bag and cross-tied
Magazines, incl. catalogs, books (covers
removed) cross-tied. Junk Mail incl. office, composition,
construction, photocopy and computer paper
(No carbon paper, blue prints or plastic) tied with magazines or
in reusable feed bags.)
Household Batteries (carbon zinc, alkaline, mercury, silver, nickel-cadmium, lithium) with intact cases. (No lead acid batteries)
Co-mingle:
#1 & #2 Plastic bottles only. (No automotive fluids, hazardous waste or medicine containers) Rinse, crush, remove rings and tops.
Tin-, Bimetal-cans empty aerosol, and empty, dry latex paint cans
Aluminum-clean beverage and food cans, pie and food pans. No foil
Crush cans and aluminium..
Glass clean bottles and jars
