Township Committee Meetings
The Township Committee organizes annually at their Reorganization Meeting during the first week in January, at which time it elects a Mayor and Deputy Mayor from among its members. The Mayor presides at meetings of the Township Committee and performs such other duties as the Township Committee may prescribe. In the absence of Mayor, the Deputy Mayor acts as Mayor.
Regular meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM in the courtroom at the Municipal Building. A second meeting is scheduled in December.
Special meetings may be called as needed with adequate notice of at least 48 hours in advance as per the Open Public Meetings Act.

Agendas & Minutes
Agendas for the regular meetings will be posted to the website and Municipal Building bulletin board at least 48 hours in advance. Backup documentation will be posted to the website and in the back of the courtroom prior to the start of the meeting. Agendas may be revised prior to or during a meeting.
Each public body shall keep reasonably comprehensible minutes of all its meetings. Minutes are not transcripts. The minutes reflect the actions taken and the discussion at a meeting so that a member of the public could understand what occurred. The minutes are not intended to be a verbatim recitation of a public meeting. All minutes must be listed on the next agenda for approval by the Governing Body. Draft copies of minutes will not be provided to the public as minutes are not official until reviewed and approved by the Governing Body.
