About John...
My wife Linda and I have resided in East Amwell Township for 24 years. In September of 2020, we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and we're raising two terrific kids, Connor and Corrine.
Connor graduated from Ohio University in December of 2020 with a BS in Journalism. He is the Sports/Operations Director for WATH/WXTQ, a local radio station in Athens, Ohio (Home of Heisman Trophy winner Joey Burrows).
Corrine attends TCNJ and is majoring in Secondary Education and English. Last February Corrine and her team mates won the 2020 Cheer UCA National Championship in Orlando, Florida.
The last member of our family is Millsie, our very sweet and loyal 14 year old Labradoodle (Yeah, I know...his name is not too creative).
I hold an Associates Degree in Police Science from Middlesex County College, a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice from Trenton State College and a Masters of Arts in Human Resources Training and Development from Seton Hall University.
In February of 2011, after 25 years of service, I retired from the NJ State Police with the rank of Sergeant First Class. Earlier in my career, as a member of the Educational Services Unit, I had the privilege to instruct the D.A.R.E Program at East Amwell Township School for several years. The beauty of the township, and the genuine kindness of the school's students and staff is what drew me to make East Amwell my home.
Throughout the years, I served as a volunteer coach for both East Amwell Valley Little Baseball League and Flemington Elks Wrestling Program. Additionally, I served as a catechist and facilitated the VIRTUS religious education curriculum at St. Alphonsus Parish in Hopewell, NJ.
I served as a member of the East Amwell Board of Education from 2018-2020 where I had the pleasure to work with a team of individuals who put the needs of the students above all else. I served on the East Amwell Planning Board from January through December of 2020 and currently serve on the Agricultural Committee.
I earn a living as the Sr. Director of Training and Employee Safety for the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission. My responsibilities include, but are not limited to, department oversight charged with curriculum development, and training for approximately 400 commission employees.
I am honored to represent the residents of this wonderful township and look forward to meeting all of you over the course of the next three years.
